The property was “under new ownership and being renovated” so there was no breakfast, no fitness center or pool, no sign outside, indicating that it was a hotel or any business. The staff were polite, but very hampered by all of this. The room was clean but dated and the beds were fine.

Room and hotel itself looked nice but a little outdated, some leftover trash from previous guest was in our room. The Starbucks drinks were not good and it took a long time although the staff was friendly. The free shuttle was nice. Casino was good/average.
My friend left her coat in the room and called about 30 min after we checked out. Was told to send them a shipping label and they would return it. She sent the label that same day. After several different contacts with different people over the next week or 2 they said it finally shipped. They sent it to the wrong shipping provider even though she told them the correct one to give it to. It was “lost in the mail” because of this. Literally took over a month to straighten everything out with the shipping provider for the hotel’s mess up.

Nice accommodations with cool vibe and large spacious rooms. Great workout area. Convenient to area restaurants.
Downtown Detroit location had multiple people loitering outside entry doors at all hours. Not recommended to walk around at night as there were three crime notifications around 2am on a Saturday.

"I could not end up staying because the door would not lock. The woman working at the front desk (Delilah) texted me that I could not stay at the property because they couldn't fix the lock and there were no additional rooms. She said they would give me a full refund. They are now refusing to do so ..."
